Ethletic create iconic, classic footwear in sustainable materials. They were conceived by the makers of ‘the world’s first fairly manufactured’ footballs.
As there had been no official body determining whether the rubber used in their footballs was produced in a sustainable way, the Ethletic founders worked to create a ‘Seal’ they could attribute to rubber growers that could prove their crops were sustainable.
From this then came the idea to create a fair trade trainer made in a sustainable, environmentally sensitive way.
The trainers are made in safe factories by fairly paid workers. Ethletic HQ visit their production teams in Sri Lanka, India, and Pakistan several times a year, keen to continue improving the conditions for staff and the sustainability of the supply chain.
